ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Using TickSure responsibly
Effective 27 October 2026 · Last updated 27 October 2026
1. Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to businesses and users accessing TickSure. It supports our Terms of Service and helps protect customer records, other users and the reliability of the platform.
2. Accounts and access
Use only accounts you are authorised to access. Keep passwords and sign-in details secure, give staff only the access they need, and promptly remove access for people who no longer require it. Tell us if you suspect an account has been compromised.
3. Prohibited activity
You must not use TickSure to:
- break the law, infringe another person's rights, or upload content you are not entitled to use;
- access, alter or disclose another customer's accounts, records or information without permission;
- introduce viruses, malware or harmful code, attempt to bypass security controls, or probe for vulnerabilities without written authorisation;
- disrupt or overload the service, including through abusive automated traffic or excessive requests;
- copy, redistribute, resell or reverse engineer the platform except where the law expressly permits;
- send spam, fraudulent messages, or deliberately misleading or abusive material through the service.
4. Accurate and lawful business records
Use TickSure to create and maintain honest, accurate business records. Do not deliberately falsify checks, timestamps, signatures or evidence, or impersonate someone else when completing a task. Your business remains responsible for its operating procedures, legal compliance and any decisions made using the records.
5. Personal data and uploaded material
Only collect or upload personal information, photographs, signatures and other evidence when you have a lawful reason to do so. Avoid adding unnecessary sensitive information. Businesses are responsible for deciding what their staff may record. Please also read our Privacy Notice.
6. Fair use and security
Use the service in a reasonable manner consistent with your subscription and its intended purpose. If unusual activity creates a material security or availability risk, we may take proportionate protective steps while investigating. We will try to contact the account holder where practical.
7. Breaches of this policy
Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may investigate, request that the activity stops, remove unlawful material or restrict access when necessary to protect the service or other users. Serious or repeated misuse may result in suspension or termination in line with our Terms of Service and applicable law.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service evolves and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical. Questions or suspected security issues can be reported to info@ticksure.co.uk.
